During S.’s nap time today, E. decided to get out his dress up clothes while I worked. I feel funny calling it “dress up” because it conjures up images of silly hats, big sunglasses, and feathery scarfs. Well, maybe the “silly hats” part still fits! He had a lot of fun; I can't believe that some of the outfits still even fit him. The ninja outfit is a 3T! At one point he did some move that involved bending over and it sounded like the seat of his pants ripped out!

Today seemed like a day that just wouldn’t end. Not that anything bad occurred or that I was overly tired or anything, the day just kept going. I think it is because I still had to work one more hour tonight and it was like a monkey on my back. So, now, at almost 10 pm, I am officially done working and I am debating on whether to go to bed or wait up for Tyler to get home from his trip to Chicago. Right before I sat down to finish working, I did have one thought that gave me tremendous happiness though: this is the last Friday night I will have to work! No, I didn't resign from my job; Tyler is opting to take the night shift on Fridays and I am switching back to my 6 am – 2:30 pm schedule. Since no one will want to come to counseling at 8 or 9 pm on a Friday night (hopefully!), we might actually get Friday nights together again!
