Another list-maker in the family
Last Friday afternoon, I asked E. what he would like to do over the weekend since Tyler wasn't going to be around much. He started to give me a list. Hmm, I wonder who he learned that habit from? He said some funny things, so I thought I would share it with you. Unfortunately, we didn't get to them all!
Fun things to do
- “Learn to tie my shoes.”
- “Learn how to spin a ball on my hand.” Then, noticing that I was writing his list down, “B-A-L-L, I'll give you a little hint.”
- “Learn how to shoot baskets in a tall hoop.”
- “Learn how to read big, big books ... like Snoopy.”
- “Go play at the mall.”
- “Get the trampoline out.”
- “Wash dishes with you ... that might be fun.”
- “Learn how to play soccer with daddy.”
A new milestone for the baby
I have been trying to get some new pictures and video of P. lately. A couple days ago I laid her down on her play mat after the other kids had gone to bed and she started really grabbing onto and playing with her toys. I was so impressed and shocked. I didn't realize that she was able to grab things yet, and I think it is because she never really gets her toys to herself (yes, the siblings play “with her” which is more like them playing with her toys!). I am also including some still shots of her, because I wanted to show the one where she is straining so hard to sit up. She is going to be 3 months old on Friday and I can't believe how fast she is growing!
